Your kid isn't “just”
a picky, gassy, sniffly kid.
Constipation. Reflux. Eczema. Meltdowns. The colds that never quit. Your pediatrician says they'll grow out of it — but you're the one checking the diaper, reading every label, and lying awake wondering why nothing works. You're not overreacting. Those are gut signals. And when you fix the gut, the symptoms don't just fade — they stop.

Different symptoms.
Same root.
The gut runs digestion, immunity, mood, and skin. When it's off, it shows up in four ways almost no one connects — and chasing them one at a time is exactly why they keep coming back.
Constipation & bloating
Days without a real bowel movement. Holding it, straining, a hard little belly, stomachaches "for no reason." You've pushed water, fiber, and prunes. It didn't hold.
Picky eating & reflux
Living on five "safe" foods. Gagging on textures, spitting up, sore tummies after meals, and eczema that flares no matter which cream you try. It's not just behavior — it's the gut.
Mood, focus & sleep
Meltdowns over nothing. Can't wind down, fights sleep, "wired and tired," foggy at school. The gut-brain link is real — and behavior is often the loudest gut symptom of all.
Recurring sickness
Catches everything going around. Back-to-back antibiotics, ear infections on repeat, a nose that never fully clears. Around 70% of the immune system lives in the gut — fix the gut, steady the defense.
You've been treating symptoms. We find the root.
Stool softeners. Reflux meds. Steroid creams. One more round of antibiotics. Each one quiets a symptom for a while — then it's back, usually louder. That's not you failing. That's what happens when no one ever looks underneath the symptom.
A picky, constipated, eczema-flaring, always-sick kid usually isn't four problems. It's one gut out of balance — and every month it's patched instead of fixed, another label gets added to the pile. Find the root, and the whole pile starts to clear.
Waiting isn't free.
It's just a slower bill.
"Let's give it a few more months" sounds harmless. But the symptoms don't pause while you wait — and neither does the cost:
- ×Another round of copays, specialist visits, and "let's try this cream/med" with no real answer.
- ×A cabinet full of probiotics, fiber gummies, and supplements that didn't move the needle.
- ×Missed school days, missed work days, and weekends built around how their tummy feels.
- ×The gut imbalance compounding — more sensitivities, more "labels," harder to unwind the longer it sits.
- ×The part you can't put a number on: watching your kid feel crummy and not knowing how to fix it.
Most parents have already spent more chasing symptoms than it costs to finally find the root.
Root cause first.
Then a plan a real kid will follow.
The Rooted Method™ is our 3-step system for getting to the bottom of what's actually wrong — no 40-food elimination diets your child will never touch, just a clear, parent-led path built around how your kid actually eats and lives.
Map it
We connect the dots across digestion, diet, skin, mood, sleep, and sickness history — with targeted testing only where it earns its place — to find what's actually driving the symptoms.
Rebuild it
A step-by-step gut protocol matched to your child's age and root cause: what to pull, what to add, and the exact support to repair the gut — sequenced so it sticks.
Lock it in
Practitioner guidance the whole way, so you're never guessing. We adjust as your kid responds and hand you the tools to keep them thriving long after the program ends.
Everything your kid's gut needs
— and nothing it doesn't.
Picture a few months from now.
Not a "perfect" kid. Just a kid whose body finally works the way it's supposed to.
Andrea Jones, RN, BSN, FHP
A Registered Nurse with 20+ years of clinical experience and the creator of The Rooted Method™, Andrea works exclusively with kids — connecting gut health to the behavior, focus, skin, immune, and feeding issues that send parents from specialist to specialist with no real answers. With deep training in pediatric functional medicine and the gut-brain connection, she doesn't manage symptoms. She finds the driver and builds a plan parents can actually run at home.
This isn't for every kid.
Is it for yours?
We keep this program small on purpose, so we can go deep with the families we take. Here's who it's built for — and who it isn't.
This is for you if…
- Your kid has real, ongoing symptoms — not an occasional off day — and "wait and see" has worn thin.
- You've already done the pediatrician, maybe a GI or allergist, and walked out with a label but no plan.
- You're done managing symptoms and want the actual root cause found.
- You're ready to make changes at home if someone finally hands you the right plan.
This isn't for you if…
- You're looking for a quick fix or a single pill to make it all disappear.
- You want it handled for you with zero changes to food or daily habits.
- Your child has an acute or emergency issue — that's your pediatrician or ER, today.
- You're not open to doing the work, even with a clear plan and support.
This is what happens
when you fix the root.
Swap these placeholders for your real numbers and stories — concrete before/afters convert skeptical parents better than anything we could write.
“He is no longer having anxiety or panic attacks and hasn't had a headache or migraine in over 2 months. He is also adding new foods weekly — whereas he wouldn't try anything new before.”
“Liam is having formed stools for the first time in his entire life. He's no longer having explosive diarrhea, his skin is improving, and his behavior is much more even.”
“We've tried so many things to support our daughter with autism. Now she's no longer constipated, she's having bowel movements easily every single day, and math is getting easier — that was a big struggle before.”
Questions parents
always ask.
My pediatrician says it's just a phase. Why should I do this?
"Wait and see" is fine when a kid is otherwise thriving. It's not fine when they're constipated, breaking out, melting down, or sick every few weeks. Those are signals — and the younger the gut, the faster it responds. Waiting usually means more labels, not fewer.
How is this different from what our GI or allergist already did?
Specialists are trained to rule out disease and manage what they find — reflux gets a med, eczema gets a cream, constipation gets a softener. We're not replacing them. We look at the whole picture they're not set up to connect, and go after the one thing driving all of it instead of treating each symptom in its own lane.
My kid will not eat new foods. Is this even possible?
Extreme picky eating is usually a gut symptom, not just a behavior problem. We don't start with a giant food list. We start by calming the gut so eating gets easier — then expand. The plan is built for the kid you actually have, not an ideal one.
Do we need a bunch of expensive testing?
Not always. We use testing strategically — only when it'll actually change the plan. A lot of the breakthrough comes from connecting dots no one has looked at together yet.
What does the program cost?
It's a personalized program, not a one-size-fits-all product, so we don't quote a number cold — what your kid needs drives it. The call is where we see if it's even a fit and walk you through exactly what it would involve. No pressure to decide anything on the spot.
What actually happens on the call?
It's a free Root Cause Discovery Call. We dig into your child's symptoms and history, tell you honestly whether the program is a fit, and map out what going after the root cause would look like. Worst case, you leave knowing more about your kid's gut than three specialists told you.
Stop managing the symptoms.
Fix what's underneath.
Spots are limited and every application is reviewed by hand — we only take families we're confident we can help. Tell us about your kid, and we'll tell you honestly whether The Rooted Method™ is a fit. Worst case, you walk away knowing more than three specialists told you.
